Brett Ratten’s spine-tingling address to the younger playing group set the tone right from the get-go, with the Saints powering towards 2020 with a head full of steam.
Ben Long led a St Kilda contingent up to the Top End for a pre-season camp like no other, with the punishing training sessions and eye-opening cultural lessons leaving a lasting impression on the young Saints.
Back home, new and old faces came together for the first time at the 3km time trial.

New recruits Bradley Hill, Dougal Howard, Paddy Ryder, Zak Jones and Dan Butler represented their new colours with pride, while Dylan Roberton was a welcome sight after being given the green light to play in Season 2020.
Ryan Abbott joined the Saints ranks shortly after as a delisted free agent, before St Kilda added Victorian trio Ryan Byrnes, Leo Connolly and Jack Bell through the 2019 Draft.

And just last week, the club celebrated a landmark day as our inaugural women’s side officially kicked off their pre-season.
With the first AFLW game just over two months away, every moment counts as our girls look to make their mark on the next chapter of our club’s history.
