St Kilda has selected Hugh Goddard with pick 21 in the 2014 National Draft.
A genuine swingman, Goddard boasts great adaptability and can hold down key positions at either end of the field. Like McCartin, Goddard played for Vic Country and the Geelong Falcons this year, but also combined this footy with his school commitments at Melbourne Grammar.
The left-footer is strong overhead and registered an elite 2.98 seconds for the 20 metre sprint at the Draft Combine.
He is the second cousin of Brendon Goddard.
