Byrnes is currently averaging 18 disposals per game and has twice led St Kilda for marks in-game.
The final vote was given to Jack Steele, who once again stood tall in the face of adversity.
The skipper racked up 25 disposals, as well as 14 contested possessions, seven inside 50s and five tackles.
Since taking on the co-captaincy, the Steele is averaging over 27 disposals per game and seven tackles per game.
